Charge rate termination date
Practice Management has implemented a termination date for charge Rates of all rate types, as a way to remove a particular rate type from the applicable lookup lists of the selected Employee, Activity, Disbursement and Task.
When Charge Rates are set up, users are able to select the Rate on a Timesheet. By having introduced a Termination Date for a charge Rate, it allows for the charge Rate lookup functions and procedures to exclude the Rate from the different Rate Types’ selection lists.
Affected Maintenance pages’ Rates tabs:
Activity Maintenance.
Disbursement Maintenance.
Employee Maintenance.
Task Maintenance.
Features/functionality:
A Terminate checkbox is available for the Rate value fields of all applicable Rate Types under the
Rates tabs for capturing a new rate and for editing an existing rate.
When the checkbox is selected, the greyed-out text Terminate shows in the text box.
All related pages’ rate fields have been updated accordingly, i.e., the
Planner Rate lookup, Disbursement Rate lookup, Timesheet Rate lookup.
