FAQs

Where is my AccountRight file stored?

AccountRight Server Edition only

AccountRight company files are stored in a folder which is called a library. A company file needs to be stored in an AccountRight library before it can be opened in AccountRight.

There are two libraries available for AccountRight Server Edition:

  • My Library—This is where offline company files are stored on the server in your local network so they can be accessible from multiple computrers in the network. The default location for this library is C:\Users\Public\Documents\MYOB\My AccountRight Files.

  • Network LibrariesA network library is like a shortcut to the My Library folder on another computer—typically the server. This lets you share an offline company file across multiple computers in a local network. You need Server Edition installed on every workstation that accesses the offline company file.

Company files in a network library will appear in My Library on the host computer (which will need AccountRight Server Edition installed), but will appear under Network Library on other computers with Server Edition installed.

How do I find offline company files on my computer?
