As cancelling your subscription can involve security risks, it can only be done by the primary contact on your MYOB account. This is typically the person who set up the subscription.
Business needs changed? If your needs have changed, consider switching to a lower-cost plan instead.
Need access to past transactions? If you want to look up past transactions or access documents after your access ends, you’ll need download the information before your access ends. See below for details.
Another option is to move your file to a read-only plan. This lets you continue viewing past transactions and documents in MYOB. Contact us to check whether read-only access is available for your MYOB product.
How to cancel your subscription
You can cancel your subscription by calling us on 1300 940 281.
If you call outside MYOB business hours (9am to 5pm AEST, Monday to Friday), you'll need to leave your details so we can call you back.

Your MYOB business contains financial information and other records you may need to keep for future reference or to meet your record-keeping obligations.
Before your access ends, make sure your records are up to date and download the information you may need later.
If you’re unsure what to keep, check with your accountant or adviser.
Complete final payroll and customer tasks
Do these first so the information you download is up to date and MYOB no longer sends automated messages to your customers.
If you use payroll, pay any outstanding super payments.
If you use payroll, finalise your Single Touch Payroll information so the ATO knows you'll no longer submit payroll information from MYOB. Save the YTD verification report when you complete the finalisation.
Turn off invoice reminders and unpaid invoice summaries.
Download your financial and payroll reports
Your reports provide a record of your business activity. The easiest way to save them is to create a financial report pack. A report pack combines the reports you select into a single PDF, so they’re easier to download, store and refer to later.
If you use payroll, create a separate payroll report pack. This lets you use the correct dates for each payroll year.
Financial reports: run the pack for each completed financial year you need, then run it from the start of the current financial year to your final transaction date.
Payroll reports: run the pack for each completed payroll year using 1 July to 30 June, then run it from 1 July to your final pay date for the current payroll year.
Add the following reports to each pack.

Download customer and business information
Save the details and documents you may need to refer to later. Document aren’t included in reports packs, you’ll need to download these separately. You only need to download documents you don’t already have as a paper or electronic copy stored elsewhere.
For report-based lists, open the report, choose the filters you need, then select Export > Excel. The file is saved to your Downloads folder.

Can I restart my subscription after cancelling it?
You can restart your subscription within 90 days of cancelling it. This means you'll be able to continue using your MYOB product without having to start a new one.
